Fables wants to contribute to a better society. We envisage and strive for a world that enables children and young adults to:
- develop their skills
- reach out to the unknown
- respect other cultures
- feel secure enough to look positively to the future
- find new solutions to existing problems
Fables is managed as an endowment. The capital of the foundation may increase due to returns from investments, legacies and donations. The Fables board does not actively raise funds. However, any donation is welcome.
The growth in capital is used to support organisations and projects that fit the objectives of the foundation. The board meets annually in Q4 to distribute the available funds. The majority of the donations go to charitable projects in Israel and projects with a jewish identity in The Netherlands, to children, youngsters and young adults.
Fables takes an active approach in identifying suitable projects and provides financial support. A strong and demonstrated track record of the organizations involved plays a central role in our selection process. Where necessary, we consult independent external experts to guarantee full transparency and maximum impact.
In 2025 Fables donated in excess of €125.000,- of its revenues to projects and organisations in Israel and the Netherlands.
